The best time to photograph your baby is between 5 and 14 days after birth. During this time, newborns sleep deeply, stay calm during transition changes, and naturally hold classic curly poses.

You should expect a quiet, warm, and highly relaxed studio environment. The entire session is baby-led, meaning we follow your baby’s rhythm and pause whenever they need a comfort break.

All newborn sessions are held exclusively at our studio in Melonba, New South Wales. We do not offer outdoor sessions for newborns because an indoor environment allows us to fully control the room temperature, safety, and sanitization for your baby’s delicate skin.

You can prepare your baby by keeping them awake for 1 to 2 hours before arriving and feeding them right before you leave. This ensures they arrive ready to fall into a deep sleep.

We recommend booking your newborn session around 35 weeks of pregnancy to secure your preferred date. Once your baby arrives, we’ll schedule the session within 5–25 days after birth.
